Critical Scientific Histories in Ecology
|
|
I gave this lecture to the graduate Ecological Systems course at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. It describes how the history of who has traditionally done science and culturally engrained ways of thinking have left blindspots in what we know about the world. The learning objective is for learners to understand that inclusion and equity in science are fundamentally linked to justice and scientific advancements. You are welcome to use the slides and text with proper acknowledgement.
